The storyline, character development, dialogue, emotional scenes, that kind of "seinen stuff" seemed more developed.
Shounen Jump and action fans were upset by the titanic slot machine free play arc, apparently some people didn't want the SAO world to end, but it's the destroying of the world and flipping of Kayaba that was supposed to be emotional.
Tear-jerking for me, anyways.
Attack on Titan is an awesome show, perhaps a bit overhyped but great.
Dramatic, emotional, grasps the human nature greatly.
Those scenes where the giants were just chowing down on human bodies article source the others were forced to watch gave a dark and cold air to it which is good.
The action in this sense was good.
Sword Art Online seems to me to be one of the most hated and under-appreciated anime of all time, perhaps because it is set in an MMO world.
Some people don't understand it and prejudge it as a "knock off of HunterxHunter" or something, when in fact it is very, very different.
Maybe it also has to do with the fact that SAO probably has a younger age demographic, but takes a matured article source to fully grasp the essence of the anime.
It's a close, close race.
Feel free to express any ideas you have about either, as both are awesome.
Update: Chris Yeah, maybe just click for source isn't the best word for SAO, but it definitely isn't a batty action anime or a comedy, though it can be funny at times.
Sword Art Online falls under seinen though, and it's something click consider it's not an action anime.

Chris Yeah, maybe "serious" isn't the best word for SAO, but it definitely isn't a batty action anime or a comedy, though it can be funny at times.
Sword Art Online falls under seinen though, and it's something to consider it's not an action anime.
I totally in that AoT is a "dark serious" type of serious.
No fan service, it's in the moment, and it doesn't joke around.
Best Answer: Both shows are awesome.
O had a good first half, the second half wasn't bad but it wasn't as good as the first.
The storytelling is a little lacking in attack on titan but it creates a mood that sword art doesn't.
In the end I think both are great but Attack on Titan is a little over hyped I agree The sheer fact that people even bother debating about whether or not SAO is good is an insult and legitimizes it's pathetic existence.
I seriously can't believe why the world has come together and untied under the stance that the Twilight movies are garbage, yet when it comes to SAO, people actually like that stuff.
The drama is a joke, the characters are 1 dimensional cut-outs, this just click for source notion of "A good concept" doesn't mean ANYTHING if it's not executed properly, a show shouldn't be judged by it's potential, it's judged by what it actually did, the villains are awful, the dialogue is terrible.
How people can be so blind to not see the similarity between Twilight, a bella vegas no deposit bonus codes 2019 wish-fulfillment saga filled with empty 1 dimensional characters for the sole purpose of pushing their forced and contrived romance is beyond me.
There are plenty of people with sense and intelligence out there who can diagram what's wrong with SAO.
Don't think I'm some super judgemental anime critic who only likes the best of the best, I think that there are shows where their quality is debatable, such as Bleach, Naruto, Attack on Titan, Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, One Piece, and I can accept both sides of the opinion, what I CANNOT accept is Sword Art Online, it is objectively terrible in every sense of the word.
How do you watch Asuna crying pathetically about comitting suicide and not laugh at that, how do you not watch the idiotic dialogue that makes to sense and cringe at that?
SAO being bad shouldn't be debated, much like how Most Americans believe in creationism, this is simply undebatable.
Attack On Titan has some good things and some bad things.
But I refuse to say that SAO is overrated, no, SAO is the most overrated anime, it is the WORST anime in existence, it is the TWILIGHT of anime, that's not even debatable, it did nothing right, other than the music and animation Which are worthless because it has no bearing on the story The characters are god-awful and pushed aside 1.
SAO is a Shounen, not Seinen.
SAO had no Seinen elements.
The story was Shounen, the characters were Shounen, the dialogue was Shounen, hell, even the emotional scenes were Shounen.
My preference is AoT So far, anyway.
Dramatic, emotional, grasps the human nature greatly.
Those scenes where the giants were just code geass attack on titan down on human bodies while the others were forced to watch gave a dark and cold air to it which is good.
The action in this sense was good.
Some people don't understand it and prejudge it as a "knock off of HunterxHunter" or something, when in fact it is very, very different.
Maybe it also has to do with the fact that SAO probably has a younger age demographic, but takes a matured mine to fully grasp the essence of the anime.
A "Knock off of HunterxHunter"?
I have NEVER heard anyone call it that.
It's hated because it was BAD.
Let's take a look at the Procs and Cons.
Pros: Great animation Which includes fighting scenes.
Good premise Virtual Reality is an interesting and appealing idea to many.
Cons: The plot, which goes directly into filler-like episodes after a few, not to mention the terrible plot holes and amateur-ish game mechanics.
SAO as an MMORPG is code geass attack on titan />Why did he create SAO?
Why the hell does the final "boss" look like a character from the Tinker Bell children movies, who sounds like his voice has not yet hit puberty when he screams?
And then he says that the game is "fair".
He is a wish-fulfilment character and nothing else who apparently has an invisible vag magnet glued to his crotch area.
And then there's the supporting cast which largely consists of his one-episode harem.
And then there's the romance.
That is something I would've written when I was 11 years old.
They met, they leave, then they meet again, then she cooks for him, and BAM!
Look, I LOVE romance.
A properly done romance is one of the best things I know.
SAO's "romance" felt so forced and unnatural that it made me cringe.
It reminds me of when I code geass attack on titan to cyber with my internet "girlfriend" when I was 12 and I proclaimed eternal loyalty to her after knowing her for 5 days and then did the same thing a week later.
I cannot really talk about AoT like that, seeing as it hasn't ended.
So far, though, it has done had way better action than SAO and none of the problems.
Except perhaps the main character being a bit cliché.
I recommend watching a bunch of reviews on YouTube about SAO.
In particular this one: The reviewer is new, but she makes some really good points.
Otherwise Gigguk or GRArkada are also great choices.
Attack On Titan is only a few episodes in and I can tell you that it's a way better written series.
It's definitely over-hyped though.
Right now I just see a ton of potential in this series.
It has an awesome set up, my biggest issue with it is the characters.
While I do care about their goals, they aren't really very interesting or original.
Then again, it's pretty early on in the series so that can definitely change.
I honestly don't know how anyone over the age of 16 can even be entertained by SAO.
That show was was poorly written vapid garbage.
I'm sorry, I know a lot of people disagree, but that show just sucks.
Everything about it besides the animation is a train-wreck from start to finish.
I'm not exaggerating when I say it's one of the top 3 worst shows I've ever seen in my entire life.
I personally enjoyed SAO, I just finished watching AoT like an hour ago.
I agree that AoT was extremely over hyped, I loved SAO, it was the first anime serious anime I watched all of and I expected all other animes to be as good or better.
Honestly, I found AoT extremely boring.
Whole episodes were dedicated to them planning to do something that they explained in a minute.
It seemed like for as long as it was, they didn't get much accomplished.
It was spanned over a time period of what, 6 or so years, and it didn't do much and SAO was a time span over about a year or two and they finished, basically, two story lines.
I didn't even find the action scenes, the few there were, that exciting.
They just zipped around for like 10 seconds and than stopped and talked.
I expected AoT to be amazing, but it was just okay.
SAO actually made me feel, which I rarely do, and the action scenes were epic.
However, a few episodes in the second half of SAO were really boring, I also felt the transition to the second half was kind of random and sudden.
As I got more into the second half I started to enjoy it more, but it was no where as good as the first half.
All considered I would give AoT a 7.
I feel that Attack on Titan is worth all the attention it is receiving right now.
The show has excellent animation, music, voice acting, plot, and characters.
The demographic range for both shows is about the same.
Sword Art Online, for me, was disappointing.
It started out with a very interesting story concept and nice animation, especially the setting of the world in the game, however, when instead of building up tension https://money-slots-spin.website/titan/casino-titan-casino-bonus-codes.html anime was practically episodial in a way that they would bring in one character, you'd learn a bit about it, then they would disappear from the anime in the next episode.
I never really felt too attatched to many of the characters.
Now, the second arc of the anime it went even further downhill.
There was the slight incest, the maker of the sao game appearance in the new game with no real explanation, and the romance, tbh, i didn't feel anything for it.
I would have preferred they go for an epic humanity survival thing all the way through then giving a shot at romance and have it not turn out so well.
Overall, so far, Attack on Titan is still living up to expectations and cliffhangers at the end of every episode.
I can't find much, or rather, anything wrong with the show meanwhile Sword art online, although definitely better than the average anime, is not better than attack on titan in my opinion Well Attack on Titan is so hyped now because the action is so awesome and gets your emotions all riled up, but now they seem to be giving us more info on the titans with the new Survey Corps arc.
Since the first season isn't even over yet, you can't tell how complex the story might get, like at the end of Code Geass season 1 i definitly didnt see that coming.
Also, I personally i kinda hated the second half of Sword Art Online I like the story over all, but did they really have to take a cool character like Kirito and turn him into a gaddamn fiary?!?!
My favorite part of the SAO world was that there was no magic, and then the awesome hero turns into a frickin magical pixie fairy f.
I still love Sword art online overall though.
Attack on Titan is good, but like another person said in this post already it's mostly shock value.
It was better before Eren came back to life.
When he got trashed a few episodes in, I thought "Well, this just got interesting.
They killed off the main character.
They just had Eren come back to life as a super hero.
Now THAT is lazy writing.
To say that SAO's villain not remembering why he did what he did was lazy writing is just wrong and shows that you don't have any idea what writing really is.
The "why" is unimportant.
You're probably one of those people who think The Walking Dead is bad because there's no explanation.
The fact of the matter is that it doesn't matter.
The character development in SAO went through several clearly defined phases, whereas most people is AoT are the same person from start to finish.
Really though, all this arguing is invalid anyway.
People are going to like what they're going to like, and that's all there is to it.
I simply think that from an objective point of view, SAO was a better show.
Writing, acting, development, animation.
AoT is the same, old, rehashed super hero bit doused in an extra coating of blood.
I'm not really that into slasher flicks.
SAO wins hands down.
I prefer Sword Art Online.
I believe the concept of the show is great.
It gives you a sense of wonder which is actually also present in AOT to be totally honest.
In both shows the characters find themselves trapped in a desperate situation that there appears to be no realistic way out of.
I think the anime for Sword Art is good and close to the novel.
Kirito as a character is quite interesting for an anime cahracter.
He is not the typical start from the bottom character that u get in most anime who eventually excel and reap a huge amount of respect and following.
Really Kirito is a guy who was a friendly but somewhat conceited mmo player who didn't really care too much for other players.
He was simply the best of the best.
He found himself in SAO and through his dealings with his first guild developed a compassion for people.
He is a true VR entheusiast and wishes to see the development of VR technology.
He's courageous although not by nature but rather something he became due to bad experiences.
Over all he's a survivor with strong will power which is why he is the absolute best.
Now you can't get all of that simply though the anime especially because it only just started its second season.
Asuna started as an awesome cahracter but she does later devolve until she another Arc later in the novel where she becomes awesome again.
Now they do drop side characters in and out but that is not the anime's fault or choice.
The core story was written first btw that stuff is not filler it really happened and is canon.
The side stories were written seperately and were added into the anime.
Usually you read the side stories after but the anime incorporated them into the episodic timeline.
So characters appear to simply bounce in and out.
At the end of the day kirito experienced numerous things over two years.
I think a show like Sword Art is more relevant then ever now with so much interaction being done online between people and also the birth of VR technology in real life recently.
Not true VR but very good VR devices are coming out.
A lot of moral questions about VR are also brought up.
Now Attack on Titan.
Personally i find cliff hangers annoying as hell.
I did love the show and its quite the spectacle but once the shock value is gone there isn't a whole lot to the show or the characters.
It's not like these characters were greatly flushed out or anything.
Personally I find Armin to be the most annoying yet best character on the show.
He isn't a super hero like the main character.
He's just a guy who is trying to do what is required of him in a time of emergency.
A very realistic position that many people have found themselves in during times of bella vegas no deposit bonus codes 2019 />So I can sort of see how a guy see more Armin and even Jean would exist in a situation like this.
Guys like the main character.
He is ur typical anime badass work hard character such as naruto.
Once again starting from the bottom and through some inherent unkown ability finds themselves way more important than everyone else.
He is more focused on the game.
So honestly i prefer characters like connie springer, armin, and jean.
These guys struggle with self doubts and flaws yet still pull themselves together to serve a greater purpose.
I loved both shows and i thought both were great representations of the source material.
BUT i prefer SAO because i find it less exhaustive to watch.
The shock value of AOT will diminish.
Thankfully the later manga calms down and goes into what seems to me to be more meaty plot lines.
SAO does get the love-hate thing, but some people hate it for some reasons.
Here are the cons.
His character was good for the first three episode, but after that he turned into a gary stu.
He becomes the most powerful that nobody could defeat him, except one character but that's for a different reason.
He's also known to get his own harem, that's not focused into the plot.
This is biased, but Asuna went into character derailment.
She went from quiet and mysterious into a tsundere that falls head over heels for Kirito.
You see a side character one time, and they'll pretty much be thrown into the trash can.
She's only a plot device.
What's his reasoning for trapping people in the game and killing them.
His answer "I don't remember.
No explanation for how Asuna could have move to save Kirito?
Just the power of love I guess.
How did Kirito revive?
The revive item he gave to Klein was never mentioned, so that can't be it.
ALO has a lot more flaws, but I just want to point out one.
Kirito confronts the one-dimensional villian of season two and says villian of season 1 was better than him.
Does Kirito even care about Sachi anymore!?
I would say attack on titan.
Well first off, Armin had more character development than all the characters in SAO combined.
Kirito stayed the titanic slot jackpot the whole way and so did Asuna.
I actually did enjoy it.
Attack on titan in my opinion had better animation, music, plot,OPENINGS and characters that you could relate to.
But aot did have its flaws.
I skipped most of the episodes in the second half and I understood the whole plot.
And gender equality bonus casino depot titan sans code also EXTREMELY important to me.
Aot did just that.
But Attack on titan for me!
